In recent years Ski touring in Slovakia becoming more and more popular. One of the most favorite places for skimountaineering is Small Fatra.<\/p>\n

In E-TRAVEL.SK DMC<\/a> we try to be a trendsetters also what regards sustainable tourism and Eco-tourism. Therefore we used Sunday 21.03.2021 for discovering the Small Fatra<\/a> ski-routes for our new product for 2022 year a SKI TOURING HOLIDAYS in Slovakia, what we are about to lunch. This product shall be a winter variant to our very popular Self Guided Trekking Holidays in Small Fatra.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

We started our tour at legendary Chata Vratna Hut (750 m above the sea level). Hike up following to green hike sign to Ostiepkova Mulda and continue to Snilovske Sedlo Peak (1524 m). From there we continue to monumental Chleb Peak (1645 m).<\/p>\n

We really enjoyed really good ski conditions for the end of March and ski-down to legendary hut Chata Pod Chlebom.<\/p>\n

From there we continue to ski-down on also legendary free ride ski slope “GENERAL” to settlement Zajacova.\u00a0 From Zajacova we hike up again to Chata Pod Chlebom. There we rest a bit, and had small refreshment. The hut is well known thanks to outstanding cuisine, offering local peculiarities like Cabbage soup (Kapustnica), or Meat soup (Drzkova polievka), or Lentil soup (Fazulova polievka). From main courses the hut offers Slovakian gnocchi with sheep cheese & bacon (Bryndzove Halusky), Deer stew (Jeleni gulas), Slovakian sausages, bacon & cheeses or sweet steamed dumplings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

From Chata Pod Chlebom we continue again to Snilovske Sedlo, from where we ski down thru Ostiepkova Mulda to Chata Vratna.<\/p>\n

The duration of the tour was 06:00 hours and gained elevation was 1781 m.<\/p>\n
