Wine Harvest Festival & Bratislava City Break
— A Slovak Autumn Experience —
A curated 3-day discovery journey into West Slovakia’s most compelling —
and least-known — wine destination. Fully guided, fully transferred.
Slovakia’s best-kept wine secret
Although Slovakia is not widely recognized as a wine destination, it boasts a rich winemaking tradition. Remarkably, 95% of Slovak wine is enjoyed locally, while only 5% reaches international markets. Join your group in discovering the charming Záhorie wine region, situated on the Slovak–Czech border just a short distance from Bratislava, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional wine harvest festival.
More than 60 family wineries work the sun-drenched hillsides above the Morava river valley around Skalica – and most have never exported a single bottle. Your clients will taste wines that simply cannot be found outside this region, guided by local guides and sommeliers in the wine caves and cellars where they were made.
Paired with local bestseller wine Skalicky Rubin (red wine) and local traditional pastry Skalicky Trdelnik (cinnamon chimney cake), plus medieval and Art Nouveau heritage of the most famous Slovak architect Dusan Samuel Jurkovic in combination with Slovak capital Bratislava this is an authentic destination story your clients will tell long after they return home.
