Incentive Nature Bratislava Getaway Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bratislava (Thursday or Friday):
Arrival at Vienna airport, meeting with the driver. Transfer to Bratislava. The transfer to Bratislava city center takes about 45 minutes. Meeting with your guide in Bratislava’s city center and start of 3 hours Bratislava Grand City Tour.
The tour consist of two parts, 1st 1 hour panorama city tour of Bratislava. You will discover the highlights of Bratislava, such as Blue Church, Presidential Palace, Archbishop Residence, the district Palisady full of villas built in style of functionalism during 1st Czechoslovakia. Continue to Slavin Monument from where it is a beautiful view on Bratislava’s old town. Continue to Bratislava castle, visit of courtyard and gardens of this main attraction of Bratislava.
The 2nd part of Bratislava Grand City Tour consist of extensive 2 hours walking tour thru beautiful Bratislava’s Old Town – we will discover Opera House, the Reduta Building, St. Marti’s Cathedral, the hidden gem of Bratislava – the Primate’s Palace, St. Michael’s Gate, Old Town Hall and many more. We will hear the stories about the Beethoven love in Bratislava, about the witches of Bratislava, Roland fountain and many more. End of the city tour, in traditional Bratislava’s beer house.
Beer dinner with beer and transfer to Zochova Chata. Accommodation at Zochova Chata.
Day 2: An Active Discovering of Little Carpathians Wine Route (Friday or Saturday)
The second day of Incentive Bratislava Nature Getaway Program is dedicated to discovery of Little Carpathian Wine Route, one of in total 8 wine regions of Slovakia, which starts in Bratislava and ends in Trnava.
We will start with entrance to majestic Red Stone Castle, one of the most beautiful castles of Slovakia. The Red Stone Castle boast by the biggest cellars of Central Europe. After the visit of the castle, possible to participate in Falcon Show at courtyard of the castle. The falcons are one of the symbols of Slovakia. For instance also the nickname of Slovakian football team is The Falcons.
Continue to capital city of Slovakian Wine Production Pezinok, walking tour of Pezinok. Continue to small wine town Modra, not famous just as the wine town, but also as a birth place of Slovak National Hero, Ludevit Stur, who fought for autonomism of Slovakia within Austro-Hungarian Empire. Visit of vineyard where grow the wines the local small wine-maker and produce just the organic wines, without adding any chemicals. Wine tasting of organic wines.
In the evening traditional Little Carpathian Wine Dinner in a wine cellar. Return to Zochova Chata and overnight.
Day 3: Free time & Wellness
(Saturday/ Sunday)
Buffet breakfast at the morning. After the breakfast short walk in fresh air of Bratislava’s forest to observation deck Velka Homola (709 m). The stroll will takes about 2h15 min, 5.6 km long. Afternoon dedicated to the wellness retreat in a huge wellness area of Zochova Chata. Farwell traditional Slovakian 3 course dinner. For a surcharge it is possible to have folk music band during the dinner.
Day 4: Flight Back Home
(Sunday / Monday)
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Check out. Transfer to Vienna airport. On the way, in case of departure on Monday, possible to stop in Kittsee in traditional Austrian Chocolate Factory and have an excursion in it. Arrival at Vienna airport. Flight back home.
